The licensing of natural products and dietary supplements is implemented in Canada and quickly becoming a requirement for all natural products. It is already in place in several European countries, Brazil, and Australia.

It will likely become a requirement in the USA. Dr. Kiriac had seen this coming a decade ago and had begun the lengthy application process in 2005.

This certification ensures that each batch or lot is inspected to ensure that our formulas are safe, free of toxicity and contain exactly what is claimed, and as such will remain available as a natural product in the years to come.

For USA customers it is a pre-approval step for future FDA requirements. Licensing of natural products is a subset of the CODEX proposal. The worldwide implications of CODEX are that licensing requirements will be standardized globally.

The microalgae in our formulas are grown organically in a nutrient rich environment without artificial fertilizers or pesticides. They are nurtured, harvested, filtered and preserved under the leadership of Dr. Michael Kiriac, likely the leading world authority regarding quality assurance and the usage of algae blends for human and animal nutrition.

These formulas are protected throughout the entire process; first, from environmental pollution, when grown in enclosed bioreactor; secondly, during the freeze-drying process the algae are crystallized for an unlimited shelf life given normal conditions; thirdly, by its protective veggie capsule; and lastly by the high-quality bottle that protects the algae from light and temperature variances.

Under the Health Canada Natural Product certification, each lot is verified by an independent third party to be free of pesticides, herbicides, mercury, lead, bacteria, parasites, and other pollutants. Additionally, each transport to the USA is subject to FDA verification for purity and safety.
